EXAIR makes Gen4 Long Super Ion Air Knives.

EXAIR Corporation is the perfect North American source for industrial compressed-air equipment, including the Gen4 series of static eliminators. This includes the Gen4 design of Super Ion Air Knives, ranging in length from 76 millimetres to a maximum of 2.743 metres. Among the advantages of these instruments are their one-piece construction.

Customers can get a free AC sensor with the purchase of any EXAIR Gen4 static eliminator during an ongoing special, including the Long Super Ion Air Knife.

Better for tight spaces

Highly efficient and adjustable, the Long Super Ion Air Knife will operate effectively down to five psig, while using a minimal amount of compressed air to entrain high volumes of surrounding room air – with air amplification of 40 to one. A factory-installed plumbing kit, also available from EXAIR, simplifies connection of the Long Super Ion Air Knife to any facility’s compressed-air system, to optimize its performance.

The Long Super Ion Air Knives neutralize static electricity as they blow dust and particulates away from wide webs and printed surfaces, paper, plastics, wood acrylic, and three-dimensional shapes. The wide laminar air stream, full of static-eliminating ions, works well at high speeds and offers better cleaning as far as 20 feet away. Users can eliminate poor print quality, dust attraction, tearing, jamming, and related equipment downtime from laminating, printing, routing, thermoforming and other processes.

Among the benefits of the one-piece construction: it ensures seamless airflow; it eliminates coupling multiple short-length air knives together; and it is better for tight spaces, as it reduces the overall height of the instrument by half an inch. There are no moving components to wear out, and the shockless design complies with the safety standards of Underwriters Laboratories in the United States and CSA Group in Canada.

The Model 7929 AC sensor offers the perfect way to ensure that the power is going into a Gen4 single-point ionizer. The tip glows bright red and beeps when voltage is present. Users can test wall receptacles, switches, fuses, and junction boxes with this unit.

Headquartered in Cincinnati, EXAIR has manufactured all kinds of compressed-air equipment since 1983.
