The RS Series is available in two sizes – RS-320A, at 345 millimetres, and RS-900A, which is 400 millimetres. Each one has an integrated main bearing that enables thrust load capacities with only the gearbox, plus a maximum allowable thrust weight of 5,000 kilograms (kg) for the RS-320A and 9,000 kg for the RS-900A. Each of these gearboxes also has a low-profile infinite positioning indexer.

These industrial gearboxes also incorporate Nabtesco’s near-zero backlash gearboxes with the additional right-angle feature to offer many advantages over standard cam and worm gear turntable designs. The indexer design results in a long-term, trouble-free, no-maintenance positioning solution.

Specifications for the RS Series – for the 320A and 900A respectively – include the following:

• Rated torque: 3,136 or 8,820 newton metres

• Backlash: maximum one arc. per minute
• Maximum stroke: endless
