Machining

The company’s full-service machining department includes CNC turning and machining equipment, which enables it to meet each company’s unique requirements to the highest quality standards.

Gear cutting

Rapid Gear has the capability to design and manufacture custom gears to metric and imperial specifications under strict AGMA (American Gear Manufacturers Association) and ISO quality control regulations. It can handle single units, as well as small production runs, using cast iron, nylon, alloy steel and bronze with hardened and ground teeth.

Gearboxes

The company’s capabilities also include the rebuilding, repair and replacement of gearboxes and associated machinery. As part of its innovative rebuilding program, Rapid Gear’s experienced craftsmen redesign and restore old gears and gearboxes, saving customers money in the process. In fact, this approach can save customers up to 75 per cent of what a gear replacement would cost.
