Functional and fashionable workwear available from Mister Safety Shoes

Don’t let the name fool you. While Mister Safety Shoes has been a trusted source of safety footwear since 1972, the company also carries various lines of safety clothing and workwear. Among its offerings is Blaklader workwear, a unique brand of utility work pants known for being both functional and fashionable.

One of the biggest features of Blaklader pants is the knee protection it offers. All Blaklader pants have Cordura kneepad pockets designed to hold lightweight CE certified kneepads, which are placed at different heights in the pocket to provide pressure distribution, nail protection and maximum comfort. 

A variety of options are available through Mister Safety Shoes. The Craftsmans Trouser X1600, for example, is made from a combination of nylon (78 per cent) and cotton (22 per cent) in a canvas weave. The result is a high performance, durable and comfortable fabric. Additional features include hammer and key loops, bellowed front and back pockets, as well as a pencil, wallet and waterproof mobile phone pocket. The pants are available in a variety of waist sizes, from 30 to 38, as well as lengths from 30 to 34.

Another option is the company’s heavy-duty work pants, known as the “Heavy Worker”. This is a top seller for Blaklader in Canada because of its tough poly-cotton canvas material and wide selection of sizes. These pants feature the Cordura panels in the knees, but also in the seat and cuff area for added protection, comfort and durability. They are available in waist sizes from 30 to 44, and lengths from 28 to 34.

Blaklader “Brawny” pants are made from heavyweight 12 ounce cotton, which is both breathable and comfortable. It also offers excellent durability thanks to triple stitching on all major seams of the pants. Additional features include Cordura kneepad pockets, Cordura lined back pockets, bellowed front and back pockets, pencil, wallet and mobile phone pocket, and more. These pants are available in a variety of waist sizes, from 28 to 50, as well as lengths from 30 to 34.
