In another case, the crew built a specially designed Ohio H218X horizontal dual ram broaching machine for a European customer. This hydraulically driven machine qualified the thickness of thrust bearings for engine crankshafts, which the client then supplied to automotive businesses. It had a dual parallel hydraulic system that permitted one side to function independently of the other side.

Other unique projects that Ohio Broach has undertaken include a ready-to-assemble broached wrench jaw for a manufacturing facility, shaping internal forms in parts, and sharpening many broach tools for other clients.
