This lineup consists of non-threaded caps designed to protect fittings and threads from moisture, contamination, and other damage during the production, shipping, and storage phases of manufacturing. The non-threaded construction of these caps enables easy installation: users simply slide them into place and remove them with virtually no effort.

Different materials for different applications

The broad lineup of friction fit caps encompasses a wide range of colours, shapes, and sizes, plus different materials for different applications. The 13 models of these non-threaded caps:

• EPDM rubber caps – These chemical-resistant protectors withstand temperatures up to 149 degrees Celsius.
• Flanged plastic caps – MOCAP designs these non-threaded caps to protect metric, straight, BSP, or NPT threads. White, with the exception of red, long flanged caps for straight caps.
• Flat caps and grips – Unique, vinyl dip-moulded caps, ideal for handles, tools, grips, and ends.
• Hex vinyl caps – Tough, flexible caps for hex head bolts, nuts, and fittings. Various colours.
• Paper straight caps – Economical, light-brown caps made from recycled paper. Withstand temperatures up to 204 degrees Celsius.
• Pipe caps – Black caps that fit threaded pipe ends with high flexibility. Easy installation and removal.
• Pull-tab vinyl caps – These ergonomically designed caps protect items from moisture and contamination, with pull tabs for easy removal.
• Round vinyl caps – Inexpensive vinyl plastic caps with flexibility and a pliable feel, providing tough protection. Black is the typical off-the-shelf colour, though many others are available.
• Silicone caps – Orange caps, ideal for powder-coating and e-coating tasks.
• Square vinyl caps – Tough, but flexible, vinyl plastic caps that stretch over square shapes; available in various colours.
• Straight plastic caps – Red caps form a snug friction fit over tubing, rods, and fittings.
• Tear tab plastic caps – These red caps fit securely over threaded tubing, rods, and fittings, with easy-grip taps for quick removal.
• Vinyl hanger caps – Tough, flexible round caps available in multiple colours, for strong holds and tight fits.
