Friction fit caps by MOCAP are easy to install, remove

MOCAP manufactures 13 types of friction fit caps.

MOCAP’s diverse inventory of protective products includes three basic types of caps – tapered, threaded, and friction fit caps. The friction fit option consists of caps built to protect threads and fittings from moisture, contamination, and general damage during production, shipping, and storage phases of manufacturing.

Because these friction fit caps are non-threaded, users can slide them into place and remove them with minimal effort.

A variety of colours, shapes

MOCAP’s line of friction fit caps comes in an impressive variety of colours, shapes, and sizes, as well as different materials for different applications. The selection includes 13 types, as follows:

• Flanged plastic caps. Designed to protect metric, straight, BSP, or NPT threads with or without O-rings. White, except for long flanged caps for straight caps, which are red.
• Tear tab plastic caps. Red caps built to fit securely over threaded tubing, rods, and fittings, with easy-grip tabs for convenient removal.
• Straight plastic caps. These red protectors form a snug friction fit over tubing, rods, and fittings.
• Pipe caps. Black caps designed to fit threaded pipe ends with maximum flexibility. Easy to install and remove.
• Paper straight caps. Economical light-brown caps made of recycled paper, able to withstand temperatures of up to 204 degrees Celsius.
• Round vinyl caps. Inexpensive vinyl plastic caps with flexibility and a pliable feel, offering tough protection. Yellow, black, and red variations available.
• Square vinyl caps. Tough yet flexible vinyl plastic caps that stretch over square shapes. Several colours available.
• Hex vinyl caps. Tough, flexible caps for hex head bolts, nuts, and fittings. Multiple colours.
• Pull-tab vinyl caps. Ergonomically designed caps that protect from moisture and contamination. Pull tabs enable easy removal.
• Vinyl hanger caps. Tough, flexible round caps that provide strong holds and tight fits. Multiple colours available.
• Flat caps and grips. These unique, vinyl dip-molded caps are perfect for handles, tools, grips, and ends.
• EPDM rubber caps. Chemical-resistant protectors that withstand temperatures up to 149 degrees Celsius.
• Silicone caps. Orange caps, perfect for powder-coating and e-coating applications.
