Friction-fit caps by MOCAP are built for the easiest installation and removal

MOCAP offers three kinds of friction-fit caps.

MOCAP has an unsurpassed lineup of protective products, including a variety of friction-fit caps. These non-threaded caps are designed to protect fittings and threads from moisture, contamination, and other damage during the production, shipping, and storage phases in manufacturing. They come in a broad variety of colours, shapes, sizes, and materials.

A key advantage of these cap units is easy installation. The user merely slides them into place and removes them with minimal effort.

Friction-fit caps are available from MOCAP for immediate shipment, and customers can order samples via the company website. The lineup comprises 13 models:

• EPDM rubber caps. Chemical-resistant protectors that withstand temperatures of up to 149 degrees Celsius.
• Flanged plastic caps. Non-threaded caps designed to protect metric, straight, BSP, or NPT threads. White, except for red, long flanged caps for straight threads.
• Flat caps and grips. Unique, vinyl dip-moulded caps, recommended for handles, tools, grips, and ends.
• Hex vinyl caps. Tough, flexible caps for hex head bolts, nuts, and fittings, in various colours.
• Paper straight caps. Economical, light-brown caps made from recycled paper. These withstand temperatures as high as 204 degrees Celsius.
• Pipe caps. Black caps that fit threaded pipe ends with high flexibility. Simple installation and removal.
• Pull-tab vinyl caps. Ergonomically designed friction-fit caps that protect items from contamination and moisture, with pull tabs for easy removal.
• Round vinyl caps. Inexpensive vinyl plastic caps with flexibility and a pliable feel for tough protection. Other colours are available, but black is the standard off-the-shelf one.
• Silicone caps. Orange caps recommended for powder-coating and e-coating applications.
• Square vinyl caps. Tough yet flexible vinyl plastic caps that stretch over square shapes. Various colours are available.
• Straight plastic caps. Red caps that form a snug friction fit over tubing, rods, or fittings.
• Tear tab plastic caps. Red caps that fit securely over threaded tubing, rods, and fittings, with quick removal via easy-grip tabs.
• Vinyl hanger caps. Tough, flexible round caps available in multiple colours for strong holds and tight fits.
