• Is jacketed cable available? Bergen offers a variety of jacketed cables with polyvinyl chloride, nylon, and Teflon. Clients can also get cable assemblies with heat shrink tubing on request.
• Is electrical cable available too? The Bergen lineup does not include electrical cable, but basic electrical cable assemblies are sometimes available. Prospective customers are welcome to e-mail details about their specific applications to see if the company can meet their electrical cable-assembly needs at the time.
• What range of cable diameters can Bergen accommodate? Diameters of cable assemblies can run from miniature sizes to 3/8 of an inch.
• Does Bergen provide first article inspections? First article inspections go for a base charge of US$125. This price may increase depending on the requested level of inspection.
• Does Bergen Cable provide certifications? The Bergen team provides a certificate of conformance free of charge, but if material certifications are required there is a $50.00 fee.
