The Gen4 selectable-voltage power supply by EXAIR

This unit allows users to energize four static eliminators at the same time.

With four five-kilovolt output connectors

This ability to power multiple devices simultaneously is due to the inclusion of four five-kilovolt stainless steel output connectors. The Gen4 selectable-voltage power supply also enables users to choose between two input voltages, either 115VAC or 230VAC. In addition, this single device can be connected to as many as four Gen4 Super Ion Air Knives, Ion Air Guns, Ion Air Cannons, Ionizing Bars, or any other products in the EXAIR Gen4 static-eliminator series.

The Gen4 four-outlet power supply also features an electromagnetically shielded modular power-supply cable that eases routing and connections, while protecting sensitive electronics against electromagnetic interference, as well as an integrated fuse on the primary that protects against voltage spikes. A lit power switch, which is field-replaceable, indicates operation. EXAIR has housed this unit in a durable metal enclosure, measuring six by four by 4.4 inches, which is perfect for rugged work conditions. Each Gen4 static eliminator has a bayonet-style connector that the user can insert into the Gen4 power supply where the electrical connection is made deep inside, to prevent a shock hazard.

Like all products in the Gen4 series, this four-outlet power supply is compliant with several international safety standards, including those set out by Underwriters Laboratories in the United States and Conformité Europëenne and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Europe. All of the Gen4 static eliminators that work with this device are shockless and have armoured high-voltage cables that resist cuts and abrasion.
