Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. teams up with Camille Bauer Metrawatt AG, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of test and measurement instrumentation, to provide high-end equipment to Canadian businesses. Camille Bauer offers numerous options under the renowned SINEAX brand, including signal conditioners, temperature transmitters, and devices for electrical power measurement. The last category includes multi-function power meters, current transducers, and four kinds of voltage transducers, all four of which run on AC voltage.
Two models with sinusoidal inputs
The most recent offering among this lineup of SINEAX instruments is the unique U 539 AC voltage transducer. This device converts a sinusoidal AC voltage into a load-independent DC current or load-independent DC voltage proportional to the measured value. It fulfills all of the important requirements and regulations concerning electromagnetic compatibility, and Camille Bauer has developed and manufactured it strictly according to the ISO 9001 quality-assurance standard.
U 539 voltage transducers include sinusoidal inputs and are available as measuring sources powered to 230 volts (V). Each has an input of 0-50 to 0-600 V, or 50/60 hertz, plus an output of 0-1 to 0-20 mA, 1-5 to 4-20 mA, or 0-1 to 2-10 V.
Like the previous option, the U 543 AC voltage transducer has a sinusoidal input, but is powered from a measuring source. It converts a sinusoidal AC voltage into an output signal that can serve indicators, recorders, alarm units, and other receiving instruments. It provides an input of 0-20 to 0-600 V or 50/60 hertz, and its output values are similar to those of the U 539.
Also available from the Mod-Tronic inventory are the U 553 and U 554 True RMS AC voltage transducers. Both of these units offer sine, rectangular, or distorted wave forms and are 24-60 VAC/VDC- or 85-230 VAC/VDC-powered, and each has an input of 0-20 to 0-690 V or 50/60 or 400 hertz, as well as an output of 0-1 to 0-20 mA, 1-5 to 4-20 mA, or 0-1 to 2-10 V. The U 554 is a special version to allow zero offset.
Trust the SINEAX name for high quality.
