There’s a reason Tsubaki is one of the most trusted names in industrial chain manufacturing. The company has 100 years of expertise producing reliable premium products that offer high performance and cost savings. It’s no surprise, then, that companies across many sectors have selected Tsubaki as a trusted supplier. The forestry industry is no exception. Tsubaki has a large portfolio of power transmission products that offer many advantages to this demanding sector.

The lineup

Tsubaki’s chains offer the strength and durability that forestry applications require, enabling users to increase their productivity by reducing chain breakage and minimizing downtime. The selection of products designed to keep this industry moving includes:

  • Sharp top chains (sticker chains). Tsubaki’s new design results in a 20 per cent increase in wear resistance without compromising strength. This improves the lifetime of the chain, prolonging chain replacement.
  • 81X chains. This chain is at the heart of every modern sawmill operation. It is available in three levels of quality: Econo, Premium and Lambda, which is a higher performing, self-lubricating chain. Each model is available with pushers or trimmer lug attachments, if needed.
  • Drop sorter chains. The 3939-B4 chain is an eight-inch pitch version of the 81X chain, and is used for lumber conveying in drop sorter applications.
  • Welded steel mill and drag chains. Tough enough to handle some of the most demanding applications, these chains feature high tensile and fatigue strength. They are available with or without attachments.

The selection also includes SpeedMaster chains, G7 roller chains, curved attachment chains, chain couplings, scanner chains, shock relays, trimmer lugs, engineered class chain tools, and the company’s sprockets and bushings, which can be made-to-order.
