That was the year MOCAP began manufacturing dip-moulded vinyl caps, plugs, grips, and other protection components at its original plant in St. Louis. The new company soon earned a reputation as a top sales- and service-oriented supplier, which spurred more growth. By the mid-1990s, MOCAP had opened two more facilities in Missouri, plus an innovative dip-moulding factory in the United Kingdom.

That was just the beginning of the MOCAP success story, though. In response to high demand for quality, inexpensive masking products, the company developed a full line of rubber-injection moulding caps and plugs, while boosting its vinyl-dip-moulding capacity. The next step was expansion into packaging: MOCAP launched a new packaging division, ClearTec, before the turn of the century. ClearTec Packaging continues to meet the needs of this market today.

MOCAP’s facilities, capabilities, and product lines continued to expand to service more valued clients around the world. In 2020, the company owns locations throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia. These branches supply solutions that employ only the latest in injection, compression, transfer, extrusion, and dip-moulding technologies. Most recently, MOCAP has opened a fully owned and operated plant in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China – a state-of-the-art facility with an in-house tooling and mould-making shop. The company offers low tooling costs and competitive piece prices through this factory.
