flexible heaters

Silicone rubber heaters are among the flexible heating devices that Process Heaters offers.

Process Heaters prides itself as a major source of industrial heating products – not just heaters, but also furnaces, control panels, transducers, sensors, and much more. Companies turn to this supplier for no less than 12 types of heaters – including four designs of flexible heaters, built to conform to any surface requiring heating.

As opposed to standard rigid heaters, flexible heaters are special devices that can bend to fit unusual surfaces and adhere to them. These heating elements have a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and military applications that require reliability, cost-effectiveness, and resistance to deterioration.

A variety of materials

Flexible heaters can be constructed out of many different materials, ranging from silicone to polyimide and fibreglass and more. Process Heaters offers the following four types of these products:

  • Fibreglass tape. This high-temperature tape can easily be wrapped around objects that require heating. A perfect choice for heating objects of all different shapes and sizes.
  • Kapton. Built out of Kapton polyimide film, these heating products have an extremely thin, flat shape that makes them compatible with many heating applications. In addition, they will not out-gas.
  • Printed thick film. Printed thick film is a cost-effective surface-heating choice for multiple production runs. The flexibility of this heater provides a wide variety of design options for applications for original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
  • Silicone rubber heater. A very flexible surface heater that comes in many different shapes, allowing it to fit onto many different shapes and sizes of surfaces. The user can glue this device to surfaces easily.

With this range, customers are sure to find options that perfectly suit their unique heating requirements, no matter what the shape or size the target object is.

Other types of industrial heaters available from Process Heaters include band, cable, cartridge and cast-in heaters, plus corrosion-resistant, high-temperature, radiant, strip, and tubular heaters.
