York Fluid Controls supplies a series of food processing pumps for applications that require FDA approval. Elima-Matic food processing pumps, part of the company’s lineup of offerings, are built with FDA-compliant materials — Hytrel and Teflon food-grade elastomers. The innovative Elima-Matic air valve system virtually eliminates icing, stalling and the need for lubrication. The wetted sections are made with bead-blasted, passivated 316 stainless steel, and the centre sections are nickel-plated aluminum.

Elima-Matic FDA food processing pumps are available in .5-, one, 1.5-, two- and three-inch sizes, with an optional Versa-Sense leak detection system. They are capable of handling particle sizes up to 0.375 inches (9.52 mm) in diameter, and have suction lift up to 20 feet dry and 25 feet wet (6.10 and 7.62 metres, respectively). They have a flow range up to 260 gallons per minute, and can assemble and disassemble quickly with tri-clamp connections and wing-nut clamp bands.

York Fluid Controls has been supplying innovative solutions for liquid handling since 1960. To access product details about specific Elima-Matic food processing pump models, click here. For more information, contact York Fluid Controls.
