flexible powered conveyors

FMH manufactures three models of flexible powered conveyors, available from Norpak Handling.

A leading Canadian solutions provider, Norpak Handling can supply proven loose trailer loading/unloading solutions for shipping/receiving docks, using FMH Conveyors’ flexible powered conveyors. Norpak is a leading Integration Partner with FMH representing the Canadian market, working closely with the manufacturer to bring top solutions to businesses to solve their material-handling challenges.

High load capacities and more

FMH flexible conveyors make loading and unloading applications easier and more efficient, which contributes to a company’s success. It is not only FMH conveyors that Norpak offers, but also installation services, spare parts, accessories, modifications, and maintenance. The Norpak team uses its expertise to guide customers to find the perfect FMH products for their applications and then design systems that suit the environments.

FMH offers the BestFlex power 1.9-inch roller series, with flexible powered conveyors that require less storage space when retracted and service multiple dock doors. Their self-tracking design allows packages to follow the path of the conveyor without using engineered curves. Other features: heavy-duty, 16-gauge, precision-bearing 1.9-inch-diameter steel rollers; five-inch axle centres; adjustable conveyor heights; two-inch aluminum-extruded side plates with bolted construction; on/off switches on both ends; a variable speed of zero to 120 feet per minute; and a load capacity of 100 pounds per foot.

Also available is the BestFlex power 1.5-inch roller series. These power conveyors offer consistency in high performance for shipping or receiving hundreds to thousands of packages per day. Each has a maximum compaction ratio to take advantage of valuable floor space. This conveyor has the same self-tracking design as the 1.9-inch series has; both series share other notable features.

FMH’s third series of flexible powered conveyors is the XL impact cart, an optional, standalone conveyor cart that protects conveyor investments that are exposed to high volume and high-impact loading or unloading. Using this cart at the in-feed end of a system protects the life of a flexible conveyor and reduces maintenance significantly. Perfect for loading and unloading applications, this cart is larger and heavier-duty than standard industry versions. Features include all-steel construction, eight-inch heavy-duty casters with or without brakes, and an FMH Connect Kit for existing conveyors.

With these three great solutions, Norpak can supply facilities and warehouses with the high-power, adaptable solutions they need.
