FLUX pump kits work with disinfectants, sanitizers, and cleaning agents

York Fluid Controls carries six kinds of FLUX drum kits.

York Fluid Controls is a key source of products by FLUX, a major name in drum and container pumps for decades. The lineup includes complete packaged pump kits for pumping, dosing, and mixing disinfectants, cleaning agents, and their ingredients from carboys, small containers, drums, totes, and intermediate bulk containers.

Two categories of these FLUX kits are available, both suitable for pumping and dosing disinfectants and cleaning agents: explosion-proof versions and polypropylene kits.

Options for flammable liquids, more

Among the sample liquids in explosion-proof pump kits are alcohols like isopropanol, propanol, ethanol, and ethyl alcohol, plus disinfectants and cleaning solutions. York Fluid Controls carries these kits for universal applications or highly flammable liquids.

For universal applications, the F430 pump has a stainless steel shaft, mechanical FKM seal, six-foot grounding cable, and six-foot electrically conductive universal hose with a 7/8-inch diameter, stainless steel swaged fittings, and hand nozzle. The F424 for highly flammable liquids has a similar shaft and cable, but it is sealless, and its hose has a brass hand nozzle. Both kits have a flow rate of 13.2 gallons per minute (gpm) with hose and nozzle.

FLUX produces four types of polypropylene pump kits for pumping and dosing disinfectants and cleaning agents. Sample liquids include detergents, glycol, chlorine bleach, ammonia water, and boric acid. The “JUNIORFLUX” is designed for low volumes and has a fixed motor; the drum pump is sealless with a hastelloy-C shaft commutator motor, polypropylene hand nozzle, five-foot PVC hose, and flow rate of four gpm.

Also available is a kit for acids and alkalis, with an F430PP 40/33 drum pump with a 500-watt motor with speed control and no-volt release, plus a compression gland in conductive PP for a two-inch bung opening. With hose and hand nozzle, the flow rate is 10½ gpm. Another kit for gels, lotions, pastes, and other high-viscosity liquids contains an F560 pump with progressing cavity pump technology and a variety of motor options for wash-down or explosion protection. For unloading fluids from bottom ports, the MINIFLUX has a compressed-air motor for hazardous environments.
