The 300 series by FLUX

York Fluid Controls Ltd. supplies a full range of fluid-handling solutions by FLUX, a manufacturer renowned as the inventor of the electric drum pump in 1950. FLUX offers the 300 series of light-duty drum pumps, which is designed for transferring relatively small quantities of liquids from small pails and buckets.

The FLUX 300 series consists of three drum-pump models: the F310 JUNIORFLUX Sealed, the F314 JUNIORFLUX Sealless, and the FP314 COMBIFLUX Sealless.

Outer tube with small diameter

The F310 JUNIORFLUX is suitable for filling smaller fluid quantities from five-gallon buckets, pails, carboys, and other small containers up to 55-gallon drums. This drum pump has an outer tube with a small diameter that enables use in narrow-necked containers, as well as a fixed commutator motor and mechanical seal. Available from York Fluid Controls as a pump kit, the F310 is lightweight and easy to handle, with an overload cut-out switch that facilitates safe operation. Other advantages: single-hand operation, a hand nozzle that can be stored on the pump, and little storage space required.

The other JUNIORFLUX model, the F314, has many similarities to the F310, but with a sealless design and a fixed electric motor. This drum pump offers a maximum flow rate of 15 gallons per minute, a maximum delivery head of 27 feet, viscosity from one to 250 centipoise, an outer-tube diameter from 25 to 32 millimetres, and standard immersion lengths of 50 or 70 centimetres, or one or 1.2 metres. The F314 is made of polypropylene, polyvinyldene fluoride, and stainless steel and can be used with acids, alkalis, cleaning solutions, and aggressive chemicals.

The FP314 COMBIFLUX has a motor with an intelligent cooling concept and double-walled housing to ensure optimum air circulation while protecting against the penetration of aggressive vapours. Designed on a modular bases, the FP314 can be operated with either the FEM 3070 commutator motor or the FMB-B 3100 battery motor – allowing one motor to operate several pumps. This pump has a maximum flow rate of 15½ gallons per minute and maximum delivery head of 27 feet.
