Translucent PUN-H tubing by Festo
An industry leader in automation, pneumatic, and electric-drive technology, Festo values innovation, durability, and cost-effectiveness in all of the products and services it offers to industrial clients. All of these qualities are evident in the company’s latest product: a new translucent version of its PUN-H tubing.
Ideal for many applications
Festo’s PUN-H line of standard tubing is perfect for a wide range of applications involving compressed air, vacuums, and different uses of water, offering tough, long-lasting solutions for all of them. This tubing is built out of food-grade, FDA-listed polyurethane, and users typically pair it with QS-type push-in fittings to get smooth, optimal operation with no setbacks, especially in humid conditions. The QS fittings make connecting and releasing simpler by using the sealing-and-release principle.
What gives the new translucent version of the PUN-H tubing an extra advantage is the way it makes it easier for users to detect buildup of particles, moisture, or oil inside the tube. These buildups could potentially lead to faults or hazards in the operation, but the see-through design helps users spot these issues before they happen and prevent them immediately.
Other benefits of Festo’s PUN-H tubing include its reasonable price, its flexibility, its easy installation, its lack of kinking, and its resistance to hydrolysis and microbes. It is also perfectly suited for use in outdoor environments, with ultraviolet resistance and tolerance of high moisture levels; it can handle contact with water as warm as 50 degrees Celsius and work with energy chains. Festo particularly recommends this tubing for the food-processing industry, for its resistant qualities.
