Festo understands that its customers are busy, which is why the leading supplier of automation technology offers a selection of ready-to-install solutions that are configured for the customer’s application. This allows its customers to save the time associated with building automation solutions, so that they can focus on their own key tasks.

“Our planning engineers design ready-to-install solutions that are individually configured for your application,” the company explains. “You receive system solutions that are ready for installation in your machines.”

Festo’s ready-to-install solutions include a selection of control cabinets, product modules, integrated solutions, mounting plates, handling systems and installation plates.

Control cabinets

Festo offers custom configured control cabinets for factory and process automation applications, as well as handling systems. The cabinets are made to measure, and individually designed to protect all pneumatic, electrical and electronic system components in process and factory automation applications, as well as control components for single-axis and multi-axis systems.

Product modules

Festo also offers pre-assembled function units using pneumatic and electrical components. Though these modules can be made up of a wide range of components — the company’s product portfolio includes around 30,000 individual components — typical combinations include cylinder/valve combinations; components for compressed air preparation combined with valves; and valve manifolds.

Integrated solutions

Festo’s lineup of ready-to-install integrated solutions, designed to be used in tight spaces, features a number of compact products, including manifold duct plates, cartridge solutions, sheet-metal constructions and special housings, functional blocks and profile solutions.

Mounting plates

Festo mounting plates are used for the function-specific pre-assembly of pneumatic and electrical components. Each mounting plate is customized to the needs of the specific application, and features a customized combination of components.

Handling systems

Festo’s handling systems are designed for both simple and complex tasks, from pick and place applications to 3D handling and parallel kinematic systems.

Installation plates

The company also offers hall and robot installation plates for car body assembly. These installation plates control and monitor the compressed air and coolant supply of welding cells and robots.
