Festo Canada joins forces with Electrozad for process automation products

Electrozad, the largest independently owned electrical distributor in southwestern Ontario, has been added by Festo Canada as full-line exclusive sales, support and service partner covering the region from London to Windsor and Sarnia.

Electrozad, the largest independently owned electrical distributor in southwestern Ontario, has become the full-line exclusive sales, support, and service partner of Festo Canada from London to Windsor and Sarnia, Ont. As the exclusive distributor for this region, Electrozad will supply all Festo pneumatic, electric, and process automation products, such as its Core Product Range – including drives, cylinders, valves, tubing, and fittings. With 65 years of experience in southwestern Ontario, Electrozad is perfectly equipped for this role.

Filling an important need

By further extending Electrozad’s ability to provide process automation products and more for customers in this area, the Festo portfolio fills an important need for the supplier. As a Rockwell Automation encompass partner, Festo helps to support Rockwell’s flagship Allen-Bradley brand in Electrozad’s trading area. By complementing the distributor’s highly reputed service and technical know-how, this partnership is expected to bring high value to Electrozad customers, while leveraging Festo expertise better equips Electrozad to deliver end-to-end solutions to Ontario businesses and bring the future of manufacturing to them.

A complete stock of Festo components will be available from all five Electrozad offices, with overnight or same-day delivery. This will be vital in supporting automation systems in the area’s growth markets – for example, automotive parts, greenhouse production, and local process industries such as petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. Not unlike Festo, Electrozad has accumulated a wide variety of customer relationships in southwestern Ontario, a group that both organizations can leverage. Electrozad employs a talented team of specialists in control and HMI, power and motion, sensors, and other relevant fields.
