Fastener Tech ’19 will feature Ken Forging’s great hardware products

Ken Forging has developed a reputation for superior drop-forged industrial hardware since 1970. We maintain that solid reputation by taking good care of our longstanding customers, finding new customers, partners, and contacts when we exhibit at trade shows across the United States. This June, we will exhibit in Booths 1211 and 1213 at Fastener Tech ’19, the Mid-West Fastener Association’s (MWFA) biennial fastener event, in Chicago.

Educational, informative, and social opportunities

Fastener Tech ’19 happens on June 4 and 5 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The event showcases fastener manufacturers, importers, fastener service companies, and producers of fastener machinery; it also features many educational, informative, and social opportunities for attendees.

First held in 2007, this show is sponsored by and for the fastener industry, putting all proceeds back into the sector for educational programs, scholarship, and industry enhancement. Seminars and presentations include “Why Fasteners Fail” by the Fastener Training Institute, “Threaded Inserts and Compression Limiters for Plastic Assemblies” by Spirol International, “Paving the Road to Product Acceptance” by the International Code Council Evaluation Service, and “Economic Outlook” by the Fastener Industry Coalition.

Attendees are also invited to visit the SUR/FIN show, which is taking place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center at the same time. The SUR/FIN show is the primary conference and trade show dedicated to surface technology. Fastener Tech show badges allow entry to the SUR/FIN show as well.

Fastener Tech exhibitors and attendees are invited to the MWFA 67th Annual Golf Outing, which is held at the Chevy Chase Golf Club in Wheeling, IL on June 6. Other social events include an industry reception at 5 pm on June 4, and the after-show party from 3 to 5 pm on June 5.
