Ken Forging is a domestic manufacturer known for the high-quality drop-forged industrial hardware it produces. One way the Jefferson, Ohio-based company has earned this reputation is by continually striving to find new ways to improve.

For instance, next month the company will attend Fastener Tech ’17 to showcase its broad selection of eyebolts, rod ends, turnbuckles and more in carbon, alloy and stainless steels. By attending this major fastener industry conference, Ken Forging will also have the opportunity to take advantage of the show’s educational seminars, networking opportunities and more.

Event details

Fastener Tech ’17 will take place this June 5-7 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. The event, held biannually, draws fastener companies from across the United States and beyond that are interested in gaining new product knowledge, learning about fastener industry trends, and networking. It is organized by the Mid-West Fastener Association in conjunction with Fastener Technology International magazine.

At the end of the trade show, a “Fastener Industry Summit” will be held that will consist of speakers from a number of organizations addressing topics relevant to every segment of the fastener industry. Highlights include:

  • Laurin Baker Group, LLC, an organization with extensive experience in government relations, will hold a program on the regulatory climate relating to changes in laws and regulations due to the new U.S. federal administration.
  • A Rock Valley College Manufacturing Training Center representative will speak about training for tool design, cold heading operators, and other skills for the fastener manufacturing industry.
  • A leading company in international business research, The Freedonia Group, will hold a program providing market data insights for the U.S. and global fastener market.
