For most finishing applications that employ spray guns, the goal is to have a uniform finish without overspray and waste. Exel’s products have a reputation for providing these efficiencies. Its Xcite spray guns are no exception.

Case in point

A customer was looking for a new solution that would allow it to efficiently spray 2K Sherwin Williams Polane coating on barrels and fire hydrants. It purchased 25 Xcite spray guns from Exel North America, and realized several advantages.

The biggest benefit was the savings. The new guns produced less overspray, so coating consumption was reduced by 50 per cent. This also increased spray booth filter life. Thanks to the reduced paint consumption, the customer was able to offset the cost of switching to the 2K Sherwin Williams Polane coating. An additional benefit was improved ergonomics, thanks to the ergonomic design of Airmix guns.

About Airmix

Airmix spray guns offer controlled atomization and a high-quality finish. They are known for producing lower solvent emissions, fast colour changes, higher application efficiency and outstanding reliability, resulting in a quick payback period for customers.
