The new Varistat benchtop ionizer is the latest addition to the ever-growing EXAIR family, a perfect option for neutralizing static on charged surfaces in industrial settings.

Constant stream of particulate-free air

Using ionizing technology, the Varistat benchtop ionizer offers a unique hands-free solution that requires no compressed air, while offering a constant stream of particulate-free and static-eliminating air. Customers can easily mount this device on benchtops and machines and adjust it manually. The ionizer is ideal for processes that need comprehensive coverage, such as part assembly, web cleaning, printing, and others.

As EXAIR’s first fan-driven static eliminator, the Varistat expands on the previous solutions available as it maintains world-class performance. Once the user plugs it in, this ionizer offers fast static decay that can lower 1,000 volts to 100 volts in a mere 4/5 of a second. Among the features are two replaceable ion emitter points, two 30-PPI foam filters to ensure optimal performance over long periods of time, and LED lights that signify proper function. EXAIR has imbued such customizable options as selectable voltage, variable fan speed, and adjustable polarity into the Varistat, making it a comprehensive solution for eliminating static and removing troublesome particulates, like dust and debris.

Available in two versions – Models W8600 and 8600 – the Varistat is just one of many EXAIR static-elimination devices that meet the requirements of international safety standards, including Underwriters Laboratories in the United States and CE in Europe. Customers can also select from among a portfolio that includes the Gen4 line of super ion air knives, ion air cannons, ion air guns, and other innovations.
