EXAIR’s new Intellistat ion air nozzle offers high-performance static elimination

Static elimination is a major benefit of many of the industrial compressed-air solutions by EXAIR Corporation. The manufacturer is always working to develop new, improved products that break new ground – such as the recently launched Intellistat ion air nozzle, which is the latest solution for static elimination in sensitive processes.

The Intellistat Ion Air Nozzle is a lightweight device that is rated Class 5 for clean rooms and controlled environments, as per ISO 14644-1, like the Intellistat ion air gun.

Compact, stainless steel adjustable bracket

This innovative ion air nozzle is designed with a mounting bracket that helps with remote mounting or benchtop assembly for hands-free operation. The device can reduce 1,000 volts to less than 100 in only six-tenths of a second and up to two feet away. The EXAIR team recommends this comprehensive solution for neutralizing static in such sensitive processes as scientific and electronic testing, cleaning medical or pharmaceutical products and packaging, and removing debris from sensitive electronics.

The ion air nozzle also has a compact, stainless steel adjustable bracket that users can install into any of their processes, and it removes static from applications that need both hands to package, test, or assemble components. This Intellistat device comes with an LED indicator that ensures proper functionality while using EXAIR-engineered air nozzles to maximize efficiency and to meet the requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration for sound levels and dead-end pressure. Built out of durable static dissipative polycarbonate and featuring a non-marring nozzle, the unit is very suitable for PCB, electronics manufacturing, and similar applications.

All of EXAIR’s Intellistat products, as well as the company’s full lineup of static eliminators, comply with the Underwriters Laboratories and CE safety standards too.
