The new ½ NPT FullStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle by EXAIR

Among the ever-expanding product lineup that EXAIR Corporation provides are various liquid-atomizing nozzles, and the latest addition to this family is the new ½ NPT FullStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle. Offering a full cone spay pattern for pressurized liquids, this is an inexpensive and versatile nozzle that provides the perfect solution for cooling, cleaning, washing, rinsing, and dust suppression in many industrial scenarios. Users can easily adjust the liquid flow rate by changing the liquid pressure.

A vaneless, tangential flow design

The FullStream nozzle has a vaneless, tangential flow design that creates wide open internal features to resist clogging; this can function seamlessly with fluids that contain particulate. At the same time, it produces uniform distribution, in a full cone round pattern with medium-to-large droplets. The compact, right-angle design of this nozzle can operate at a liquid pressure of up to 250 psig.

The ½ NPT FullStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle supplies the liquid directly into its body, which creates a swirling action within a vortex chamber. The vortex produces a desired spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension and exits the orifice in a round, controlled spray angle. EXAIR recommends using this nozzle with such fluids as water, rinse aids, and detergents, although it is also useful with chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides.

Other key benefits of using this innovative spray nozzle are durability and corrosion resistance – both of them due to its Type 303 stainless steel construction. In addition, the FullStream can be used with operating temperatures of up to 427 degrees Celsius. It is fully compliant with the European CE safety standard, and it is available in ¼ and 3/8 NPT sizes with a variety of flow rates.

Each model comes with a five-year Built To Last warranty, and the prices for the ½ NPT model begin at US$165.

EXAIR offers an expansive selection of air-atomizing and No Drip air-atomizing spray nozzles, which the FullStream liquid-atomizing nozzle complements.

Established in 1983, EXAIR designs, manufactures, and supplies industrial compressed-air equipment for industrial use at its Cincinnati headquarters. Options include air guns, coolers, and more.
