The new EXAIR 3/8" Super Air Wipe

Featuring a versatile air stream

What distinguishes the EXAIR 3/8″ Super Air Wipe from similar previous products is the uniform 360-degree air stream that it produces. This air stream can blow off, dry, clean, or cool any thin materials passing through it. It also has a split design that users can clamp around continually moving wires, cables, pipes, hoses, and similar objects.

The Super Air Wipe functions by ejecting a small amount of compressed air through a thin, slotted nozzle that pulls in a high volume of the surrounding air in the room, then ejecting the air flow uniformly from the inner diameter of the air wipe in all directions. These air wipes also have coupling brackets that hold each half together and can be quickly latched together or removed.

The standard level of air consumption is 11.1 standard cubic feet per minute at 80 pounds per square inch, gauge, with a sound level of a mere 82 decibels. If the user needs more blow-off force, additional shims can also be acquired and installed. A pressure regulator can help to change the air-flow speed, and precision blow-off is possible with the instant on/off control. The 3/8″ Super Air Wipe is fully compliant with the strict safety standards of the Conformité Européene certification.

EXAIR supplies these 3/8″ Super Air Wipes in aluminum and stainless steel versions, with diameters ranging from 13 to 102 millimetres (mm); aluminum wipes with diameters of up to 279 mm are also available from stock.
