A selection of air-atomizing spray nozzles is available from EXAIR.

Businesses across North America know they can get the peak of compressed-air solutions from EXAIR Corporation, including a healthy variety of air-atomizing spray nozzles. These instruments can atomize liquids in a broad range of spray patterns to suit many different kinds of applications. They blend compressed air and liquid to create a mist of atomized liquid that the user can easily adjust to fulfill the requirements of any task.

In three different NPT sizes

EXAIR clients rely on these air-atomizing spray nozzles because of their fine droplet size – which offers such user advantages as even coating and liquid conservation. Another advantage is that they are available in Internal Mix, External Mix, and Siphon-Fed models, and also in three different sizes: 1/8, ¼, and ½ NPT. Internal Mix units mix the fluid and the air inside their caps to create the finest atomizing possible, while External Mix nozzles have the highest flow rates and enable independent adjustment of the air and liquid flows. Siphon-Fed nozzles do not need any liquid pressure, and they can be used with gravity-fed liquids or fluids from a siphon height of up to three feet.

All of these air-atomizing spray nozzles are available in no-drip models as well. These units operate in the same way as standard spray nozzles do – and they have the extra benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when the user shuts off the compressed air.

This selection of air-atomizing nozzles has recently been expanded with devices that do not even require any air. EXAIR has launched the new FullStream and HollowStream Liquid-Atomizing Nozzles, each of which produces droplets by spinning the fluid and breaking its surface tension through a precision orifice.

The EXAIR lineup of atomizing nozzles is always a great choice for many applications, such as cooling, quenching, coating, dust suppression, washing, and rinsing. This is a large selection that is always expanding, to cover an evolving range of relevant industrial applications.

Founded in 1983, EXAIR designs, produces, and supplies compressed-air equipment for industrial plants from its facility in Cincinnati. Options include air guns, nozzles, coolers, and more.
