The VariBlast precision safety air gun

For 40 years, the team at EXAIR LLC has been keeping businesses across North America competitive with an unmatched selection of compressed-air equipment. A potent measure of the company’s ongoing success is the awards that it has received over the years. Now, EXAIR’s VariBlast precision safety air guns have won new accolades.

After proving its worth by solving important issues in industrial environments, the VariBlast line has won an award from Professional Tool and Equipment News and another from Plant Engineering.

Safety, efficiency, and ergonomic design

Professional Tool and Equipment News bestowed a 2022 New Product Award in the People’s Choice in the Air Tools category upon the VariBlast product series, while Plant Engineering awarded VariBlast with the Product of the Year Silver Award in its Automated Processes category.

What makes VariBlast precision safety air guns successful are safety and efficiency, coupled with lightweight, ergonomic design and engineered air-nozzle technology, making them essential tools for processes that require a handheld and effective blowoff solution. Each model offers a focused blast of air that can handle demanding applications with remarkable ease. It uses an engineered, variable flow trigger to make a range of force values for various tasks. Another advantage: like all EXAIR safety air guns, the VariBlast line complies with all health, safety, and environmental-protection standards, including the European CE standard.

Each VariBlast model comes with a standard 12- or 20-inch extension that the user can also outfit with an impact-resistant polycarbonate chip shield. The air-gun body is made of high-impact polyacetal and features a convenient hanger loop for easy storage. The airflow that exits the nozzle cannot be blocked, and it produces a quiet noise level of 58 to 75 dBA, depending on the nozzle used; this ensures safe operation and meets all standards for dead-end pressure and sound-level exposure according to the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Observing its 40th anniversary this year, EXAIR LLC designs and manufactures a broad variety of compressed-air equipment at its facility in Cincinnati. The many examples include vacuum conveyors, generators, cabinet coolers, static eliminations, air knives, amplifiers, and much more.
