Eliminating charges from great distances

Static can be an issue on moving webs, sheet stock, three-dimensional parts, extrusions, and packaging, and the Gen4 line of static elimination tools is the perfect solution. EXAIR blends its engineered airflow products with ionizers to give its customers the ability to eliminate static charges not just quickly, but also from great distances. Users of these static eliminators can blow away any contaminants and eliminates the charges that attract them with laminar flow air streams.

Gen4 static elimination tools minimize compressed-air consumption as they provide force that operators can adjust from a “blast” to a “breeze”. Tests find that these ionizers are as effective as Gen4 ionizing bars when positioned 610 millimetres away from charged surfaces, without air delivery positioned 13 millimetres from the surfaces.

This line of static eliminators includes the Super Air Knife, Standard Ion Air Knife, Super Ion Air Wipe, Ion Air Cannon, Ion Air Gun, Ion Air Jet, Ion Bar, and Ion Point. All of these innovative devices comply with the stringent safety standards of Canada, the United States, and the European Union, including the qualifications for UL, CE, and RoHS certification.

The Model 7929 AC sensor provides the ideal means of ensuring the power is going into a Gen4 single-point ionizer. The tip of the sensor glows bright read and beeps when voltage is present. This unit can test wall receptacles, switches, fuses, and junction boxes, and users can locate electricity through insulation to locate wire breaks much more easily.
