The Super Air Knife lowers compressed-air use.
For the best selection of compressed-air equipment for industrial environments, businesses across North America know they can count on EXAIR Corporation. The company makes a unique model of engineered air knife, the Super Air Knife, which dramatically lowers compressed-air use and noise in comparison to other blow-offs.
This month, EXAIR is offering a special promotion: any customer in the United States or Canada who buys this engineered air knife by Dec. 31 will get a free Safety Air Gun.
A more efficient device
The EXAIR Super Air Knife gives users a more efficient method of cleaning, drying, and cooling parts, webs, and conveyors. This device delivers a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across the whole length with hard-hitting force, while producing air-amplification ratios – i.e., entrained air to compressed air – as high as 40 to one. The engineered air knife complies with the maximum dead-end pressure and noise requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Perfect for blowing off chips, dirt, and water from equipment and components, the Super Air Knife has a uniform air sheet with the same force across the whole length, with no interruptions or “dead spots”. It dries or cleans all surfaces equally. It is offered in aluminum or stainless steel – and a PVDF model is also available for corrosive and high-temperature applications.
Another strong benefit of this compact instrument is its low sound level. High noise levels are a common problem in many facilities, as compressed-air noise often exceeds OSHA noise-level exposure requirements. This can result in noise-induce hearing loss for workers in close proximity. The Super Air Knife turns a noisy blow-off into a mere whisper – with an amazingly low sound level of 69 decibels for most applications, even at high pressures of 80 psig. Hard-hitting force is possible to reach without any of the loud noise.

EXAIR manufactures several models of Safety Air Guns, from heavy-duty to soft-grip versions. Visit the company’s website to learn about the different types.
