New ATEX cabinet coolers by EXAIR

EXAIR LLC counts cabinet coolers among its enormous (and always expanding) portfolio of industrial compressed-air solutions. Now, the manufacturer has made this line even safer for workplaces: the team has launched a new series of 316 stainless steel ATEX cabinet-cooler systems, designed specifically to protect sensitive electronics in ATEX-classified areas.

Inexpensive and highly dependable, these new ATEX cabinet-cooler systems are the perfect option for safeguarding electrical enclosures with problematic overheating in work environments with explosive atmospheres – either indoors or outdoors.

For Zones 2 and 22

These cabinet coolers offer cooling capacities of up to 5,600 British thermal units per hour, and they comply with the strict regulations for use upon classified purged and pressurized electrical enclosures within Zones 2 and 22. EXAIR has tested them to ensure they meet the standards of UL Solutions, and they are also compliant with the European CE safety standard.

ATEX cabinet coolers create and circulate cold air inside enclosures to stop overheating, high-temperature faults, and expensive shutdowns. Users can mount them easily with a standard electrical knockout, and they maintain the NEMA 4/4X integrity of enclosures in explosible areas. Their features include an auto-drain filter separator that makes sure no water, dirt, or contaminants pass into the electrical enclosure from the compressed-air system. To minimize compressed-air use, optional thermostat controls are available, as are cold-air distribution kits that ensure balanced cold-air flow to all areas of the enclosure.

In addition to the stainless steel models, EXAIR offers aluminum ATEX cabinet-cooler systems. Also available is an extensive line of cabinet coolers for NEMA 12, NEMA 4, and NEMA 4X environments and other hazardous locations. All cabinet-cooler systems from the manufacturer are CE-compliant and built to last for a long time, as they have no moving parts to wear out. Among the many relevant applications are cooling control panels, motor-control centres, CCTTV cameras, and laser housings.

Based in Cincinnati, EXAIR LLC has designed and manufactured an unsurpassed variety of industrial compressed-air equipment since its founding in 1983. The many examples include air guns, air wipes, air knives, vacuum generators, static eliminators, spray nozzles, and much more.
