Line Vac conveyors are available from EXAIR in sanitary flange models.

For nearly 40 years, no other manufacturer has provided the breadth and variety of industrial compressed-air equipment in the EXAIR Corporation portfolio. The company always puts a high priority on developing innovative new solutions for specific scenarios or applications – including variations on existing products.

A key example is the Line Vac brand of air-operated conveyors, available in a sanitary flange model for extra contamination prevention.

Maximum corrosion resistance and hygiene

EXAIR’s Line Vac sanitary flange air-operated conveyors provide the best way to move material through systems that require frequent or mandatory cleaning. The sanitary flanges, which meet the requirements of the ISO 2852 standard, limit areas where bacteria can grow, which reduces the risk of contamination. EXAIR manufactures these Line Vac units from Type 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and hygiene.

These flanged conveyors convert flanged piping systems into powerful instruments for transporting products, parts, scrap, trim, and other bulk materials. Due to their large size, they can convey larger parts and bigger volumes of materials over long distances. Each Line Vac sanitary flange air-operated conveyor ejects a small amount of compressed air to create a vacuum on one end, with high output flows on the other end. The response is instantaneous, and the user can obtain infinite control of the conveying rate by regulating the pressure of the compressed air.

Line Vac sanitary flange air-operated conveyors are ideal for such applications as material conveying, part transfer, fibre tensioning, scrap trim removal, and filling operations. EXAIR supplies these models in flange sizes of 1½, two, 2½, and three inches; smaller sizes are also available, down to a 3/8-inch hose or 3/8 NPT threads, plus large hose or pipe sizes up to five inches. Every one of these conveyors meets the pressure requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration, as well as the recommendations of the European CE safety standard.

These models are ready to ship from stock, and additional Line Vac series can fit hoses, tubes, or threaded pipes.

Founded in 1983, EXAIR Corporation manufactures an unsurpassed range of compressed-air solutions at its Cincinnati headquarters.
