EXAIR's 2½" and 3" Heavy Duty Line Vacs have a hardened alloy construction.

EXAIR Corporation has launched its most powerful conveyor to date. The latest entry into the company’s line of air powered conveyors, the 2½” and 3″ Heavy Duty Line Vacs transport high amounts of material through ordinary hoses or tubes, while their hardened alloy construction prevents premature wear.

These heavy-duty, in-line, air powered conveyors are perfect for rugged industrial applications. Their tough construction enables users to transport abrasive or heavy materials, such as shot blast, tumbling media, and metal fittings.

Double the standard conveying rate

Similar in appearance to EXAIR’s other Line Vacs, but with superior performance, the 2½” and 3″ Heavy Duty Line Vacs are engineered to convey more materials over longer distances, due to their large throat diameters. As a result, they can transport materials at twice the rate at which standard air powered conveyors can. The tough construction enables trouble-free conveyance of material that might cause damage or wear to regular aluminum or stainless steel Line Vacs.

This in-line conveyor works by ejecting a small amount of compressed air through a directed nozzle into its throat, which creates a vacuum at one end and high output flows at the other end, which causes an instantaneous response. Users can control the material-conveying rate easily with a pressure regulator, while an optional bracket allows for easy mounting. Another key advantage of the Heavy Duty Line Vac is its maintenance-free operation, because of its lack of electricity and of moving components.

Like EXAIR’s other Line Vacs, these conveyors are also highly safe instruments. Not only do they comply with the strict Conformité Européene (CE) certification of the European Union; they also meet the pressure requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

EXAIR offers seven sizes, ranging up to three inches (76 millimetres), to fit common hose and tube diameters, while threaded versions are available for common pipes. Prices for Heavy Duty Line Vacs start at US$396. They are ready to ship from stock.
