HazLoc cabinet cooler systems

The newest EXAIR cabinet coolers are approved by UL for hazardous locations.

Always aiming to break new ground, EXAIR Corporation has made electrical control panels more effective and safe with its innovative cabinet coolers. Most recently, the company has taken a step forward with these products by unveiling its new HazLoc cabinet cooler systems – designed for use in hazardous work environments.

This new line is currently available with a special offer: purchase of any EXAIR cabinet cooler system comes with a free AC sensor.

Little or no maintenance required

What distinguishes these HazLoc cabinet cooler systems from competitors’ products is that they have earned the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) classified designation for Division 1 environments. They are thermostatically controlled systems that operate with the highest efficiency and have UL-listed solenoids, also recommended for hazardous locations. The EXAIR team has designed these systems to install on any purged enclosure within minutes, with little or no maintenance required. This system meets the needs of anyone who needs inexpensive, reliable, easy-to-use cabinet coolers that work in the toughest of industrial conditions.

EXAIR HazLoc cabinet cooler systems have been engineered and approved for use in purged electrical enclosures in approved classified areas – specifically, Class I Division 1 (Groups A, B, C, and D), Class II Division 1 (Groups E, F, and G), and all of Class III. UL has tested these systems thoroughly and deemed them compliant with its strictest requirements for these hazardous areas.

These cabinet coolers use vortex technology to produce up to 5,600 Btu per hour, with no moving parts, resulting in a minimal-maintenance solution for cooling purged cabinets. They work with NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X enclosures to maintain cool operating temperatures for purged and pressurized controllers without compromising panel integrity.

Available in eight different cooling capacities from 1,000 to 5,600 Btu an hour, HazLoc coolers offer a range that can fit any cooling needs without exerting unnecessary demand on air compressors. They provide a low-cost, reliable means of cooling purged electric control panels in dangerous work locations.
