Each Continental conveyor cover has been designed to boost worker safety, decrease material loss from wind, and stop rain and grime from damaging belts and idlers.

With a unique construction that offers the goal of protecting all items undercover, these conveyor covers serve as a holistic solution for customers by offering specialized mounting brackets for special types of conveyor structures, extended sides to enclose the return belt run, and nonstandard support band centres and hood profiles to accommodate vertical and horizontal curves.

Among the other important features and parts that go into a Continental conveyor cover:

• ¾ hoods that enable quick viewing of the belt from one side;
• a design that stops water ingress into the reinforced edge, minimizing the risk of corrosion;
• open position brackets that hold the hoods in place as users access the conveyor;
• support bands and hoods made from G90 galvanized material, through also available in aluminum and steel;
• support bands with correctly positioned holes for mounting of eye bolts for safety pull cords;
• a symmetrical design that allows easy placement on structures, quick installation, and safe access to both sides of the belt;
• a tight fit between the bottom edge of the hood and the support band, to ensure top protection; and
• wide support bands to prevent gaps and improve weather seals.

Every Continental conveyor cover also has a specialized mounting system that ensures a solid fit in any system, in any kind of workplace. These mounting systems are available in standard foot or 15-inch foot. The cover models themselves are available in full-hood and ¾-hood designs. Both of these versions have belt widths stretching from 457 to 1,524 millimetres, while support-band weight can range from five to ten kilograms.
