Engineered Lifting Systems now offers Gawronski conveyor products in Canada

Gawronski conveyor equipment is now available from ELS.

Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment (ELS) has been a top Canadian manufacturer and distributor of industrial lifting equipment, including the Destuff-IT line of products. Now, ELS has expanded its product line even further by partnering with Gawronski GmbH, a German-based manufacturer of conveyor equipment and other related products.

ELS debuted the Gawronski conveyor equipment at MODEX 2018, a supply-chain industry trade show recently held in Atlanta. During the show, the supplier announced that it had become the exclusive North American dealer for the Gawronski product line.

Reducing loading and unloading time

Warehouses, distribution centres, and 3PLs can use Gawronski conveyor equipment either as standalone units for loading or unloading floor-loaded products, or with the Destuff-IT as an integrated system. Either way, Gawronski conveyors can make loading or unloading trailers and containers more productive and cost-effective.

According to Gawronski, its conveyors can reduce a company’s unloading time significantly. On average, it takes 20 to 30 per cent less time to unload a floor-loaded trailer, which increases efficiency in work procedures. Gawronski conveyors also benefit users by reducing truck idling times and allowing workers to use the entire cube more efficiently.

Gawronski’s aluminum, telescopic conveyors can be extended to reach a span of 15 or 20 metres, as well as compacted to six or seven metres for storage. Because of their light weight, each conveyor can easily be moved from dock door to dock door. Optional features may be added, including counting devices and barcode scanners. Gawronski is also able to design and produce custom conveyor systems based on specific client needs.
