liquid analysis innovation

The headquarters in Gerlingen houses modern office and production facilities. A new building is currently under construction.

Liquid analysis innovation has been a major part of Endress+Hauser since 1970. A trailblazer in the field, the corporation is observing the 50th anniversary of its Liquid Analysis division, which has assured the company of a leading reputation in this market, due to customer-focused innovations and unparalleled expertise.

Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis was born half a century ago in Stuttgart, Germany – back when a company called Conducta was manufacturing pH-measurement transformers and gas-alarm instruments.

With five production locations

In 1977, Conducta merged with the Endress+Hauser Group and relocated to Gerlingen. Today, this specialist in liquid analysis innovation employs around 1,000 people at five production locations in Germany, China, and the United States. Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis has modern production plants and offices in Gerlingen, and an additional five-storey building with office space and laboratories is scheduled for completion next year.

The product lineup at Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis stretches from standard sensors to complete measurement stations. The company sees this whole area of the analysis industry as a focus of development, which is a major reason for its long-term success in this field of application. The corporation knows that its customers want to be able to determine material characteristics and product quality while the process is ongoing, rather than merely measure the process conditions. All of its solutions adhere to this principle.

Digital innovation is a key factor in the milestones that Endress+Hauser is establishing in the field of liquid analysis. In 2004, the company revolutionized the market when it introduced Memosens technology – in which sensors convert the measurement value into a digital signal and send it to the transmitter through wireless communications. Later came Heartbeat technology, which enables instrument inspections without process interruption, and the Netilion IIoT ecosystem, through which measurement values, process data, and diagnostic information can be used with cloud-based applications.

For 50 years, this Endress+Hauser division has inspired customers with liquid analysis innovation based on a market-oriented strategy consistently aligned with client demand. The company’s constant focus is on research and development, groundbreaking technologies, and a high level of automation in manufacturing.
