The Daemar VK series

Daemar Inc. supplies essential components for industry as its key mission, including end covers. Designed for bearing protection, the VK series of end covers is intended for applications in which the shaft does not pass through the housing wall of a bore. These units are typically used in gearboxes, primarily to plug unused ports or access ports in oil-sealing tasks. Available in various sizes with different heights and diameters, the VK series is most useful for agricultural and exercise equipment, trucks, buses, trailers, and the automotive industry.

Easy to apply, remove

Developed to fit into housing bores for rotary shaft seals, the VK series protects bearings and helps to prevent accidents. These end covers have the same tolerances as those for the outer diameter of a seal. The inner housing is made of carbon steel, and the outer seals are made of Nitrile rubber. Each unit offers high resistance to a wide range of fluids and most chemicals, and it can withstand operating temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius. The VK series is also very easy to apply and remove.

Using the VK series of end covers offers many notable user benefits. These products increase worker safety because using them is an easy means of protecting factory employees from direct contact with spinning shafts. As well, these end covers from Daemar are easy to snap on and off, and they fit securely in the adhesive-mounted ring. And since they are simple to install, they can be conveniently fixed to equipment from a variety of manufacturers, and no advanced technical assistance is necessary.

As the VK series of end covers prevents hazards and accidents, it minimizes equipment downtime, which results in substantial cost savings. Yet another major advantage is durability: the high resistance to abrasion, tears, and a wide variety of fluids and the high tensile strength of the Nitrile rubber makes these units durable and helps them stand up against challenging working conditions.

More than 50 models are available, with diameters going from 19 to 350 millimetres and heights from seven to 68 millimetres.
