Electronic metering pumps by LMI Pumps set a new high standard

York carries the Roytronic Series A of metering pumps.

Among the most innovative options by LMI is the Roytronic Series A, which is setting a new high standard for electronic metering pumps.

With a new robust design, the Roytronic Series A offers a diverse group of control features, as well as new heights in standard features.

Four-function valve with swivel mount

These electronic metering pumps offer five different control options for users: manual stroke length control/fixed speed; manual stroke length and speed control; manual stroke length/pulse input speed control; manual stroke length/auto pulse input or manual speed control; or manual stroke length/auto 4-20mA or manual speed control. Other control features on each pump include a locking cover, a NEMA 4X/IP65 enclosure, a stroke indicator light, an on/off button, a new industrial-grade IP-68 external signal/equipment interface, and inputs for a low-level switch available on certain models.

Another key feature in this series is the new AutoPrime Liquid End, which automatically and constantly purges entrapped air from process fluid while eliminating air binding when the pump is used with sodium hypochlorite and similar liquids. Each of these electronic metering pumps also comes with a new four-function valve with a swivel mount that enables flexible orientation and a FastPrime standard liquid end that allows simple startup. Both single and double ball checks are available from York Fluid Controls for better pumping efficiency. The tubing-connection system sets a new standard for secure and leak-proof connections.

LMI produces three general sizes of the Roytronic Series A – Liquifram Size 1, with a tubing outer diameter of ¼ of an inch, and Sizes 2 and 3, both with a tubing outer diameter of 3/8 of an inch. The Size 1 AX1 operates at 120 strokes per minute (SPM), while Size 1 AX4 and Sizes 2 and three run at 240 SPM. Flow rates can range from 0.005 to 7.6 litres per hour, depending on the individual size and design.
