Electric duct heaters are used in industrial and commercial markets around the world. Electric duct heaters offer a number of benefits. For horizontally mounted applications, they can produce bi-directional airflow. They can also provide resettable all-limit controls, hinged cover access with locking latches, zero rating clearance, and components all mounted within the control panel. In addition, they can be provided with wire rack systems for extremely low pressure drop and extended element life.

Common characteristics

While every heater is different, there are some common characteristics that can help you get started with finding the right model:

• Basic duct heaters are typically limited to sizes smaller than 36 by 36 inches.
• Custom heaters are available in sizes up to 120 by 144 inches, and can include a number of accessories or remote control panels.
• Round duct heaters are also available. They come in diameters up to 10 inches.
• Register heaters are six inches in diameter and feature wired or wireless thermostats.
