The Teledyne Hastings 300 Vue series of thermal mass flow meters

Teledyne Hastings Instruments makes innovative measurement solutions, available in Canada via Durham Instruments. One example is the Digital 300 Vue series of thermal mass flow meters and controllers, which measures mass flow accurately, with no compensations or corrections for temperature and gas pressure. This series includes the HFC-D-302A/B digital flow controller.

Both versions of this model have precision solenoid proportional control valves that are tested and configured on user flow rates, gas, and pressure conditions.

With fast response times

Among the applications this instrument suits are leak testing, high-purity gas delivery, thin film deposition, gas blending, pharmaceuticals, fuel-cell research and development, environmental monitoring, and medical research. All items in the Digital 300 Vue series have thermal-based mass flow sensors with exceptional linear response to varying flow rates; these sensors offer fast response times with precisely tuned electronics.

The HFC-D-302B model has an optional touchscreen display that enables viewing and control of flow rates directly through the device. The main screen shows flow rate and set point, units of measure, valve mode, and gradual change in flow, while allowing access to menus that enable quick configuration of the unit for various needs. Other features and advantages of these controllers:
