Application is fairly simple. For pipeline diameters of 450 millimetres or less, users unroll the material parallel to the pipe and then wrap it around the pipeline in a longitudinal way; then the mesh is fastened with tape, buckles, or cable ties. With larger diameters, users need to pre-cut sheets to match the pipe circumference, then wrap the sheets around the pipe in a spiral fashion, and then fasten it.
