Denso PVC Tape is an all-purpose protective tape designed to be used as an outerwrap for Denso Petrolatum, Bitumen and Butyl tapes. It comes in a range of colours, making it ideal for indoor applications when colour coding is desired.

Tape features and benefits

Denso PVC Tape (coloured) is a plasticized polyvinyl chloride sheeting that is coated with a rubber resin, pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side. It is available in white, grey, blue, green, red, orange and yellow rolls, so that users can colour code pipes indoors for easy identification.

The tape offers good comformability and impact resistance, and is easy to apply. It must be cold applied, and wrapped spirally using a minimum 25-millimetre (one-inch) overlap on all applications. Users need to apply a sufficient amount of tension to provide continuous adhesion of the tape.

Denso PVC Tape is part of Denso North America’s protective outerwrap offering, which includes such solutions as fibreglass spacers and protective pipeline mesh.
