Denso Butyl Mastic Tape features aggressive grip

Butyl adhesive tape is known for its outstanding performance in a wide range of industrial applications. Denso North America's Butyl Mastic Tape is no different. The double-sided, 100 per cent solids, non-hardening, thick butyl-based sealant tape has an aggressive surface tack and high tensile strength, providing an immediate bond without the need for primer. 

With its aggressive grip, Denso Butyl Mastic Tape is ideally suited for joining and sealing a variety of surfaces, including metal, wood, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, concrete and cadwelds. It offers many advantages to users: 

• The tape is easy to apply by hand. Simply prepare the surface by removing dust, dirt and grease. Then peel the tape off of the release paper and apply it to the surface. 
• The tape is non-shrinking and non-corrosive. 
• It has excellent conformability and consistent uniform thickness.
• The tape stays flexible in a wide temperature range — from -18 to 49 degrees C (zero to 120 degrees F) during application, and -32 to 82 degrees C (-25 to 180 degrees F) for continuous service.

Rolls of Denso Butyl Mastic Tape are available in widths of two inches and lengths of 30 feet. The standard thickness is ⅛ inches. 

Denso North America recommends keeping the tape in a dry, cool place. The tape has a two-year shelf life from its date of manufacture when stored at or below 27 degrees C (80 degrees F).
