L. & M. Precision Products Inc. is observing its 60th anniversary as a key supplier of screw-machine and precision-machined components. Its success results from continuous stamina and hard work: the company has survived generations of economic highs and lows to remain a leader in the area of custom machining.

The firm has grown into Canada’s top source of custom-machined parts for nearly all industrial markets since its founding as L. & M. Screw Machine Products Ltd. in 1962.

A major focus of the company has always been growth. L. & M. was founded with a small worker base and limited facility space; today, the company employs more than 70 skilled full-time employees and many temporary personnel, and it owns operating space measuring no less than 65,000 square feet.

But the heart of the company is the shop-floor workers, who are personally invested in L. & M.’s continuing success, as it is an employee-owned, non-union business.
