Dryslide bushings are available from Daemar.

Bushings are one of the many essential components for industry that Daemar Inc. supplies. These items are not unlike thin cylindrical tubes that are often installed in equipment with rotating or sliding shafts to boost efficiency while minimizing friction, vibration, and noise while machinery functions – which limits wear on the parts. Dryslide bushings are often used in many applications, like drilling operations, hydraulic external gear pumps, motors, office equipment, valves, home appliances, material handling, farming machinery, and the automotive industry.

Higher productivity, less downtime

Bushings are made from a wide range of materials to support the requirements of many applications. Constant rotation of machine components generates friction that compromises equipment performance. Dryslide bushings offer self-lubrication properties with inexpensive maintenance, helping to minimize downtime, increase productivity, and save money for users.

The Daemar team carries the following six different lines of dryslide bushings:

  • Fibre-lube bushings – the CJ/FCJ series of fibre-lube composite bushings, which come highly recommended for non-lubricated, high-load applications in a range of operating environments and climates. Daemar supplies them with thick walls for drop-in replacements of steel and bronze bushings.
  • FTH series – flanged-style dryslide bushings with a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze, and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in both metric and imperial sizes.
  • TH series – with a composite structure very similar to that of the FTH series. Also available in metric and imperial sizes.
  • THX series – also with carbon steel backing, onto which a porous layer of bronze is sintered and impregnated with a co-acetal plastic. The polymeric surface has indentations in which the lubricating grease lies and protects the mating surface. Available only in imperial sizes.
  • TS flat strips – a series of dryslide bushings with a composite structure that consists of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze, and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in both metric and imperial sizes.
  • TW flat washers – a series that has a very similar composite structure to that of the TS line of flat strips. Available from Daemar in both metric and imperial sizes.
