Six series of dryslide bushings are available.

Among the wide variety of essential industrial components available from Daemar Inc. are bushings. These units are similar to thin cylindrical tubes that are often used for equipment with rotating or sliding shafts to increase efficiency while minimizing friction, vibration, and noise while equipment operates, which limits wear on the components.

Dryslide bushings are commonly used in such industrial applications as drilling operations, hydraulic external gear pumps, motors, office equipment, valves, home appliances, material handling, agricultural equipment, and the automotive sector.

Self-lubrication properties with inexpensive maintenance

Bushings are made of a broad variety of materials to support the needs of many applications. Continuous rotation of machine parts generates friction that reduces equipment performance. Daemar’s inventory of dryslide bushings provides self-lubrication properties with inexpensive maintenance, helping to minimize downtime, boost productivity, and save money.

Daemar offers the following six styles of dryslide bushings:

  • TH series. With a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze, and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in both imperial and metric sizing.
  • THX series. Also with carbon steel backing, but onto which a porous layer of bronze is sintered and impregnated with a co-acetal plastic. The polymeric surface has indentations in which the lubricating grease lies and protects the mating surface. Available in imperial sizing only.
  • FTH series. Flanged-style dryslide bushings with a very similar composite structure to that of the TH series. Available in both imperial and metric sizing.
  • TS flat strips. This series of dryslide bushings has a composite structure that consists of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze, and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in both imperial and metric sizing.
  • TW flat washers. The TW series has a very similar composite structure to that of the TS flat strips, and they are available in both imperial and metric sizing.
  • Fibre-lube bushings. The Daemar team recommends the CJ/FCJ series of fibre-lube composite bushings for non-lubricated, high-load applications in a variety of climates and operating environments. They are available with thick walls for drop-in replacements of steel and bronze bushings.
