Disc springs are available from Daemar.

For essential components for industry, Daemar Inc. is the only place where businesses need to go. This unmatched inventory includes many items for retaining tasks, ranging from tapered and spiral retaining rings to wave springs, constant sections, and disc springs. These disc springs all meet the strictest European safety and quality standards. Daemar disc springs come in multiple sizes for different applications, and they are perfect for use with windmills, actuators, and ball valves.

Pre-assembled custom units available

The DIN Metric series is a standard range of disc springs, a series that consists of 254 models in 246 sizes, with outer diameters ranging from six to 250 millimetres (mm) and inside diameters from 3.2 to 127 mm. These disc springs are built from Ck67 and 50 CrV 4 and have a standard corrosion protection of zinc phosphating and oiling. Disc springs that are ½ a millimetre thick or more are shot-peened to increase their fatigue. Bolt sizes go from three to 125 mm.

Another series of disc springs available from Daemar is the DIN 6796 series of Belleville washers. These units are intended for pre-loading bolts, but not for tasks involving dynamic loads. Heavy-duty Belleville washers, also known as conical washers, are made of the same materials that the DIN Metric series is. Their bolt sizes go from two to 30 mm, and outer diameters range from five to 69.85 mm, while inner diameters run from 2.21 to 30.99 mm.

DMR Belleville disc springs produce high loads when they are deflected to their flat positions. This deflection lowers the spring rate of the bolted system substantially, which in turn reduces the change in the bolt’s pre-load and stops leaks through the joint. The DMR Belleville series is most suitable for live loading of flange joints and valve steam packing gland applications. The variations including springs with bolt stress of 30,000, 45,000, or 60,000 pounds and springs with PH 17-7 PH material.

Daemar supplies customized disc springs for specific applications, all of them being pre-assembled in stacks or on guiding devices, in addition to standard units.
